I was seeing a presentation of Capt Raman, where he addressed the Nashik Entrepreneurs Forum and demonstrated in very crisp elucidation why there is strong need to encourage and support the large mass of ‘unorganised’ sector as compared to our continuous focus on organised / formal businesses
In his 35 minute presentation (which you can look up here below) he made a very valid point which we at whatcanibe.com also keep emphasising – that India Inc can only cater to a less than 2% of the every year new mainstream job seekers. Its limitation cannot be further from the truth that our aspiring Youth will not be able to make their careers unless they themselves initiate it
Careers are not only about ‘jobs’ which unfortunately is the general assumption. Career is about what you like to do the best and becoming the best in the area you choose to work on
Becoming an entrepreneur is the best way to reach ones career – and the unorganised sector teaches us so much about how people without a basic education also manage their ‘business’
